I wanted to make a post outlining some changes we are making to our survival server (s.pitforge.com). We are currently preforming some hardware updates to help with stability and performance. The updates are designed to reduce lag as well as allow us to handel more users online at once. 

We will be upgrading our harddrive to a Samsung 830 SSD (solid state drive) which will provide us with 5-6x faster read speeds. As well as upgrade our servers uplink from 100/mbps to 1gbps which will result in a 10x faster internet connection. 

These upgrades will not be cheap, but we think they are necessary to provide the best gaming experience to our players. We would appreciate it if you would consider contributing to the server by donating. Donating will help support the server as well as give you some amazing perks.
